Join us in celebrating
our 2023 winners!

Congratulations to these amazing women founders!

First Place Winner, Lara Solomon, of Hoopsy
Prize: AUD $40K in Dell Technologies Solutions

Lara is the founder of Hoopsy, an eco-friendly pregnancy test business that is on a mission to eliminate single use plastic from home based pregnancy tests. Did you know, each year over 11 million kgs of plastic from home tests goes into landfills globally? Incredibly, this is the same weight as two Eiffel towers!  These tests do not need to be in a plastic case that can take 30 years to break down in a landfill, they can be made from paper. In 2022, Hoopsy launched a midstream pregnancy test that is 99% plastic free and made from 99% paper and is still over 99% accurate. With the ongoing environmental crisis, Hoopsy is making a small but significant difference towards a greener future.  Read more about Lara and Hoopsy
