Congratulations to our 2nd and 3rd place winners

The 2023 DWEN US Dream Tech Contest 2nd place winner is Monica Sunny of The Chai Box.

For Monica Sunny, Chai is more than just a drink, it is a part of her culture and heritage. Growing up in an Indian household, family chai time was an integral part of her daily ritual. So, when she started a family of her own, it was important to her to instill the love of Chai and the traditions – filling their home with its warm and spicy aroma and connecting them to their roots. This began the journey to creating The Chai Box. As founder and CEO, Monica brings her passion for Chai along with generations of recipes including her mother’s, to help create blends inspired by different regions in India. Connect with fellow DWEN member Monica Sunny here on DWEN.com and visit The Chai Box to learn all about the perfect cup of Chai.

The 2023 DWEN US Dream Tech Contest 3rd place winner is Jenny Wu, Founder and CEO of LACE by Jenny Wu.

As an architect, Jenny has always worked in the intersection between art and architecture. While attending Miami’s Art Basel, she wore a couple of her own 3D printed necklaces that were seen by other attendees and gained attention as well as incredible feedback. This was a springboard that pushed Jenny to further explore how utilizing the latest digital modeling and 3D printing technology could translate her architectural design sensibilities into high fashion jewelry. And in 2014 LACE by Jenny Wu was officially launched. With a commitment to maintaining an ethical practice, Jenny is dedicated to the sourcing of conflict free diamonds, using recycled precious metals, as well as supporting local jewelry craftsmen in Downtown Los Angeles. Connect with fellow DWEN member Jenny Wu here on DWEN.com or visit her business website to see how LACE by Jenny Wu is transforming the jewelry industry.
