Empower Hour Tech Talk: Cybersecurity: New insights drive smarter – not fearful – business decisions, sponsored by Intel

43% of small businesses are targeted for cyber-attacks, costing businesses more than $200K. Are you prepared?

As an entrepreneur, you are naturally wired for foresight and curiosity. These characteristics also inform your risk tolerance, which is likely higher than most. When did you last turn that same perspective on your own cybersecurity strategy? The better question: Do you have one?

Whether you’re running the world from a single laptop or your very own Tier 4 data center, minding your cybersecurity strategy is as important as processing payroll. Dr. Amit Elazari, head of cybersecurity policy at Intel, joins us to share the latest insights on cybersecurity for small business, its present impact (or threat) to business continuity, and to topline security trends that will likely affect your business. We’ll also cover common decision points and offer insights on how to deliberate them differently – moving us from our most common cybersecurity motivation – fear – toward an informed and decisive perspective.

Come for a “brains on fire” moment. Stay for the questions you aren’t asking about your business…but should.
