Don’t fence her in: Why Kristian Rene of Campworks Created a Free Range Foundry for Innovators
Kristian Rene is a radically fresh twist on the upwardly mobile professional. She lives to answer the question we cannot ask enough, “How do we connect people in the sanctuary of nature without depleting one for the other?” Her quest to build resilience for people and planet led her to a roaming pack of innovators motivated by a shared purpose – to expand human potential for a positive environmental impact. In true pioneering fashion, Campworks is the first mover among manufacturers to create an off-road, solar-powered micro-grid by joining niche interests like high design, electric power, durability, adventure, and movable shelter. The product of hyper focus to perfect their low-impact craft, Campworks’ super charged camper trailer brings to mind what legacy manufacturing systems want us to forget – by design, our systems should generate more usable product than non-renewable waste. All it takes are the movers, doers, and stop-at-nothing changemakers brave enough to push the limits of their own potential.
It filled me full of hope that other people wanted to see other people do well.
